Burial Details Set for Nollywood’s Allwell Ademola

The burial committee for the late Nollywood actress and producer, Allwell Ademola, has officially released the schedule for her final rites. The beloved thespian passed away on December 27, 2025, following a sudden heart attack at her residence.

Consequently, the funeral activities aim to honor her extensive legacy in the Nigerian film industry. These events will take place across various key locations in Lagos throughout the week.

Event Schedule: Thursday, January 8 (Today)

Activities dedicated to celebrating the life of the late actress commence today. Fans, colleagues, and well-wishers should follow this designated itinerary:

  • Service of Songs: This event will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Lagos Television (LTV 8) premises in Ikeja.
  • Candlelight Procession: Immediately following the service, a tribute walk will take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The procession moves from LTV 8 to Oregun Junction and returns to the starting point.
  • Artistes’ Night: A night of tributes and performances by colleagues will follow the walk. The event is expected to conclude around 11:00 pm.

Burial Details: Friday, January 9

The final interment of Allwell Ademola is scheduled for tomorrow. To ensure a coordinated farewell, the committee has provided the following essential details:

  • Interment Venue: The actress will be laid to rest at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
  • Official Dress Code: Guests attending the burial on Friday are requested to wear white shirts and blue jeans.
  • Commemorative Gear: For those attending today’s events, customized commemorative T-shirts will be available at the venue.
