The forum aims to highlight the importance of cultural diversity and the contribution of arts and heritage to global progress.

The opening ceremony was attended by high-profile dignitaries, including Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of Culture, Maurice Kouakou Bandaman, and representatives from various international organizations. In his opening remarks, Minister Bandaman emphasized the significance of culture in fostering mutual understanding and dialogue among nations, stating:
“This forum provides an essential platform for sharing ideas and experiences that will help us harness the power of culture for sustainable development.”

The theme of this year’s forum is “Cultural Diversity and Sustainable Development,” focusing on how culture can drive economic growth, promote social inclusion, and enhance environmental sustainability. Furthermore, the World Cultural Forum emphasizes youth engagement, with specific programs designed to encourage young people’s participation in cultural activities. By fostering creativity and artistic expression among the youth, the forum aims to ensure that cultural practices continue to thrive in future generations.

As the forum progresses, it seeks to build partnerships among countries and organizations committed to promoting cultural policies that support diversity and inclusivity.
