Opeyemi Ayanwale, widely known as Imisi, emerged as Big Brother Naija Season 10’s winner and announced plans to create a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting young girls.

During a recent event in Lagos, she received an extra N2 million from BetKing for a challenge won in the house. Imisi called the prize a thrilling and uplifting moment, fueling her dreams.

A Personal Mission

Reflecting on her tough childhood, Imisi shared how her struggles inspired her to act. “I’m overjoyed and deeply thankful, this feels like a dream,” she said.

“Growing up as a girl was tough and dramatic. I want to start a foundation to support girls facing those same challenges.”

Her vision for the NGO is still taking shape, but it stems from a long-held passion to empower young women. Imisi’s story resonates with many, turning personal hardship into a drive for change.

BBNaija’s Impact on Her Career

An actress before entering the show, Imisi credited BBNaija for boosting her fame. “Acting was my path, but this platform gave me a huge spotlight,” she noted.

The exposure has opened doors, letting her pursue both her craft and her advocacy with greater reach.

Her victory, celebrated in an emotional season finale, has made her a household name. Imisi’s journey showcases the power of reality TV to transform lives and amplify voices.

BetKing’s Strategic Partnership

At the cheque ceremony, BetKing’s marketing lead, Nengi Akinola, explained the prize’s purpose. The company aimed to reward talent while promoting its unique games to a broad audience.

“We launched titles like a Lagos bus-inspired game and a football challenge with a Nigerian legend,” she said.

Akinola highlighted a new game where a character strikes poses to win rewards. “BBNaija helped us connect with entertainment fans,” she added. “This is our first collaboration, and we’re assessing its impact for future plans.”

Empowering Through Opportunity

Imisi’s win and her plans highlight the ripple effect of her platform. The N2 million prize not only celebrates her success but also funds her mission to uplift girls.

Her foundation aims to provide resources like education and mentorship, addressing key barriers for young women.

BetKing’s role shows how brands can support meaningful causes. The partnership brought visibility to both Imisi’s talent and the company’s innovative games, creating a win-win.

Looking Ahead

As Imisi steps into her new role as an advocate, her story inspires. The foundation could transform lives, offering hope to girls across Nigeria.

Her BBNaija journey proves that determination and opportunity can spark lasting change.

Fans are excited to see her vision unfold. With her acting roots and newfound platform, Imisi is poised to make a mark, blending stardom with social good.
