Police say the 26-year-old artist, born in Montero Lamar Hill, charged at officers while wearing only underwear and boots on Ventura Boulevard.

Police Response in Studio City

The Los Angeles Police Department said officers arrived around 6 a.m. after receiving reports of a nearly naked man on the street. When they approached, they recognized Lil Nas X. Video from TMZ shows the chaotic moment he rushed toward officers before they restrained him.

Drug Overdose Suspected

Authorities believe the rapper may have been under the influence of drugs. After the arrest, paramedics took him to a local hospital for a quick evaluation. He returned to custody a few hours later and now faces charges of misdemeanor obstruction of an officer.

By Thursday afternoon, his team had not released any statement.
