A project to distribute one million Bibles was launched to honor Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday. It aims to inspire ethical leadership and spiritual growth among Nigerian youth.
The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) leads this effort to promote integrity, compassion, and unity.
Vision for Moral Change
Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, YOWICAN’s National Chairman, announced the initiative at a Thanksgiving service in Abuja’s National Christian Centre.
He described it as a step toward moral revival, not just a tribute.
“This project is a gift to Christians and a spark for ethical renewal,” Enwere said. “We want to equip young Nigerians with values of compassion and integrity.”
Nationwide Prayers
Thanksgiving services took place in about 40 churches across Nigeria. These events included prayers for the Tinubu family and the nation.
Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, led prayers in Abuja, calling the project timely amid declining societal values.
Seyi Tinubu’s Thanks
Seyi Tinubu, in a statement read on his behalf, thanked the organizers. He stressed that faith-based education is key to a united Nigeria. “Moral discipline builds a stronger society,” he said.
Reaching Youth
The Bibles will go to schools, churches, and youth ministries nationwide. The goal is to empower young people with tools for ethical choices.
A Father’s Praise
On October 13, 2025, Seyi Tinubu turned 40. President Tinubu celebrated his son’s milestone on social media. “Your focus, courage, and humility inspire others,” he wrote.
Building a Better Future
This Bible project tackles Nigeria’s moral challenges. It aims to create a more ethical and united society through youth empowerment.
