Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has made history by becoming the first footballer to win the PFA Player of the Year Award on three occasions.

Salah’s Historic Achievement
The PFA Player of the Year Award was first presented in 1974 to Leeds United’s Norman Hunter Over the years, it has been won by some of the biggest names in football.
Salah has now surpassed legends such as Mark Hughes, Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Kevin De Bruyne, who each won the trophy twice.

- Currently joint-fourth in goals with Andy Cole.
- Needs 27 more goals to move past Wayne Rooney (208) and Harry Kane (213) into second place behind Alan Shearer.

In the women’s awards, Olivia Smith won Women’s Young Player of the Year.
