Host nation Angola won the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket title after a dominant 70–43 victory over Mali in the final held in Luanda on August 24.

The triumph secured Angola’s 12th AfroBasket championship, extending their record as the most successful team in the tournament’s history. They went unbeaten in all six games, marking their first continental crown since 2013 in Ivory Coast.
