Rising Nigerian football talent Daniel Daga has officially signed with Norwegian top-flight club Molde FK. The 17-year-old midfielder, who gained recognition as a standout player for the Flying Eagles during the U-20 World Cup, has now embarked on his first European football adventure.

Daga, previously linked with several European clubs, chose Molde FK as the ideal destination to kickstart his professional career overseas. Renowned for their strong player development system, Molde FK presents an excellent platform for the young star to hone his skills and gain valuable experience in a competitive league.

Speaking about the move, Daga expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “Playing in Europe has always been a dream for me, and I’m thankful to Molde FK for believing in my potential.”

This transfer is seen as a significant step in Daga’s career, with analysts praising his versatility, technical ability, and defensive prowess as attributes that could make him a key player for Molde. It is also a testament to Nigeria’s growing reputation as a hub for emerging football talent.

Meanwhile, Enyimba, Daga’s former club, will miss the services of the young star but expressed pride in his achievement, highlighting it as a testament to their youth development program.

With Molde FK currently competing in both domestic and European tournaments, Daga will have the chance to showcase his talent on a bigger stage and potentially attract the attention of top European clubs in the future.
