MAROC

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is fast approaching. Royal Air Maroc has launched a strategic initiative to help football supporters.

The national carrier announced the news on Tuesday, November 25. It is rolling out special discounted fares for fans flying to Morocco for the tournament.

This move aims to ensure maximum attendance. The Kingdom is preparing to host Africa’s premier sporting event. The tournament runs from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

Boosting Accessibility for Supporters

The airline recognizes the high cost of international travel. Therefore, it has unveiled “very attractive prices” on selected routes. These flights connect major African cities to Morocco.

The initiative positions the carrier as a logistical backbone. It will facilitate the movement of thousands of fans supporting their national teams.

By lowering cost barriers, the airline hopes to create a vibrant atmosphere. Consequently, stadiums across the host cities will be filled with energy.

Strengthening Continental Ties

Royal Air Maroc described the discount scheme as a commitment to African unity. Beyond commerce, the campaign seeks to strengthen cultural ties. It ensures the tournament serves as a true celebration of African football.

This announcement coincides with the final stages of preparations. Morocco is currently finalizing infrastructure upgrades and transport logistics.

Demand is expected to spike in the coming weeks. Thus, the airline’s timely intervention provides a welcome boost to the tournament’s accessibility.
