Samsung Expands AI to More Users with the Galaxy A Series

Samsung has officially launched its latest Galaxy A Series smartphones—the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G. This marks a major step in its mission to bring AI technology to everyone.

These devices come with enhanced AI features, sleek designs, and powerful hardware. As a result, more users can now enjoy premium smartphone experiences at an affordable price. During the unveiling event, Samsung executives reaffirmed their commitment to making AI accessible to all.

Tae Sun Lee, CEO of Samsung Electronics West Africa, stated:

“The new Galaxy A series is a big step toward AI for all. With these exciting features, we’re unlocking limitless creativity while ensuring a safe, reliable, and fun mobile experience.”

Smarter AI Features for Everyday Use

One of the biggest highlights is Google’s enhanced Circle to Search. This tool makes it easier to find information directly from the phone’s screen.

Speaking at the Lagos launch event, Oge Maduagwu, Samsung’s Head of Marketing for West Africa, explained:

“With the latest updates, users can search phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs instantly with just a tap. Even better, the new version allows music recognition without switching apps. Simply long-press the navigation bar, tap the music button, and identify any song playing nearby.”

Advanced Camera Features for Content Creators

The Galaxy A series now offers a triple-camera system with powerful tools for content creation. Each model features a 50MP main camera, ensuring sharp and detailed photos.

Moreover, the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G come with 10-bit HDR front lens recording, perfect for brighter, high-quality selfies. The A56 5G also includes a 12MP ultra-wide lens for capturing more in every shot.

Stephen Okwara, Head of Product Management, MX Division, added:

“The new Galaxy A series introduces an improved Object Eraser. Now, users can remove unwanted objects from photos in seconds. Whether it’s a passerby or an annoying shadow, you can erase distractions with just a few taps.”

Long-Lasting Battery and Superfast Charging

Battery life is another strong point of the Galaxy A series. Each device comes with a 5,000mAh battery, ensuring all-day usage.

Additionally, the A56 5G and A36 5G support 45W fast charging and Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology. Consequently, users can power up their phones quickly and stay connected longer.

With AI-driven features, powerful cameras, and extended battery life, Samsung’s latest Galaxy A Series sets a new standard for affordable 5G smartphones.

Are these the best budget-friendly 5G smartphones of 2025? Only time will tell.
