Telegram Update

If you’re an active Telegram user, exciting updates are now available to improve your experience. The platform has introduced new monetization tools, enhanced privacy features, and more user-friendly controls. These updates are designed to help users manage their messages efficiently, reduce spam, and increase earning potential on the app.

Earn with Telegram Stars for New Messages

One of the standout features in this update is the ability for premium users to set a fee in Telegram Stars when receiving messages from people outside their contact list. This feature:
Helps reduce spam
Keeps inboxes organized
Allows users to earn Telegram Stars

This change is especially beneficial for creators and influencers, offering them a way to monetize their interactions while maintaining control over their messages.

Contact Confirmation for Added Security

Telegram is also enhancing user safety with the Contact Confirmation feature. Now, when you receive a message from an unknown contact, an information page will appear with key details about the sender, including:

  • Their country
  • Any shared groups
  • Their account history (e.g., when they joined)
  • Whether they have a verified or regular account

This update adds transparency to conversations and helps users identify suspicious or unverified accounts before responding.

Gift Telegram Premium with Stars

Another exciting addition is the ability to use Telegram Stars to gift premium subscriptions. Users who earn Stars through paid messages can withdraw them after 21 days and redeem them for Telegram ads or other purchases.

Additionally, Telegram now lets users pin up to six gifts on their profile cover, which can be managed by going to:
Settings → My Profile → Gifts

New Telecom Regulations on Satellite Equipment

In a separate development, the Department of Telecom (DoT) has introduced new regulations for testing and certifying satellite equipment in India. Starting at the end of August, companies offering satellite communication services must use or import only certified equipment.

This marks a significant regulatory shift, ensuring all satellite gateways and user terminals comply with strict standards for safety and efficiency.

Final Thoughts

Telegram’s latest update brings a mix of monetization, security, and personalization tools that make the platform more engaging and rewarding for users. Whether you’re a content creator looking to earn or someone who wants better message control, these features provide a more seamless experience on the app.
