Transformation Leader of the Year

Acclaimed data scientist Shefiu Yusuf added another feather to his cap as he emerged Digital Transformation Leader of the Year at the 2024 edition of the National Technology Innovation Honors. The award, which celebrates individuals spearheading Nigeria’s digital evolution, comes in recognition of Yusuf’s groundbreaking work at the intersection of data, policy, and technology infrastructure.

The event, held in Abuja, brought together high-level stakeholders in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem. He has been instrumental in building real-time data frameworks that power public sector efficiency,  fintech, enable smart agriculture, and drive digital inclusion across underserved communities.

The award signals more than a career milestone, it is a marker of enduring industry impact.
