African Countries with Direct Flights to and from the United States

Travelling between Africa and the United States has become more convenient thanks to several direct flight routes. These non-stop connections save time, reduce layovers, and make business or leisure travel smoother. Below is a list of African countries currently offering direct flights to and from the U.S.:

1. Egypt – Cairo ↔ USA

Cairo serves as a major hub for direct flights to the U.S., operated mainly by EgyptAir and other partner airlines.

2. South Africa – Johannesburg ↔ USA

Johannesburg offers non-stop services to American destinations such as Atlanta and New York, with South African Airways among the key operators.

3. Nigeria – Lagos ↔ USA

Lagos has direct flights to U.S. cities like Atlanta and Washington, D.C., primarily through Delta Air Lines and other carriers.

4. Morocco – Casablanca ↔ USA

Casablanca connects to New York and Washington, D.C., through Royal Air Maroc, offering travellers a smooth transatlantic journey.

5. Kenya – Nairobi ↔ USA

Kenya Airways operates non-stop flights between Nairobi and New York’s JFK Airport, opening East Africa to American travellers.

6. Ghana – Accra ↔ USA
