Produced by Iyabo Ojo and directed by Biodun Stephen, the film has claimed the top spot at the box office, making it the second-biggest Nollywood opening weekend this year, according to FilmOne Group, a leading West African film distribution company.

Iyabo Ojo: A Powerhouse in Nollywood

Producer Iyabo Ojo is no stranger to success. With over 150 acting credits and more than 14 produced films, she has solidified her place as one of Nollywood’s most influential figures.

She began her acting career in 1998 with the English-language film Satanic before transitioning into Yoruba cinema with Baba Darijinwon (2002). By 2004, she had ventured into film production, delivering hits like Bolutife and Ololufe.

Her latest project, Labake Olododo, continues her legacy of blending cultural heritage with mainstream entertainment, proving that audiences crave indigenous stories with high production value.
