Moussa Diop, the festival’s coordinator, emphasized the importance of cultural exchange in his opening remarks, stating:

In addition to live performances, the festival features various workshops and exhibitions, where local artisans showcase traditional crafts, such as weaving and pottery. Participants have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, learning about the techniques and cultural significance behind these art forms.

A significant aspect of the festival is the emphasis on youth involvement, with dedicated programs aimed at empowering young people through artistic expression.
