On Friday, September 19, 2025, President Bola Tinubu extended warm congratulations to Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

Kuku was elected Vice-President of Airports Council International (ACI) Africa during the 34th ACI Africa General Assembly in Lusaka, Zambia.

The event, running from September 13, wrapped up today, marking a key achievement for Nigerian aviation.

Official Statement of Praise

Tinubu’s message, shared via his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, highlighted Kuku’s contributions.

He commended FAAN’s ongoing work to elevate air travel safety and efficiency in Nigeria, earning worldwide acclaim.

“The President recognizes FAAN’s dedication to upholding top-tier standards, which has drawn international praise,” the statement noted.

Kuku’s Leadership Journey
