As the prices of essential goods continue to decline and security conditions improve in various parts of Nigeria, former Kano State Commissioner, Dr. Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has called on critics of President Bola Tinubu’s administration to recognize and appreciate these positive developments.

Speaking to journalists in Kano, North West Nigeria, Kwankwaso emphasized that the consistent drop in commodity prices and the strengthening of the Naira, now trading at N145 per dollar, are indicators of the administration’s economic progress. He urged opposition figures and government critics to be fair in their assessments by acknowledging the strides made under Tinubu’s leadership.

“I expect more specifically those who on a every basis would took to the Media attacking the Government to no comes out clearly and support the President by voicing out progress made in almost all frontiers of human lives in the Country,” he stated.

Kwankwaso also commended the president for approving over N500 billion worth of projects to complete critical infrastructure in Northern Nigeria. He highlighted the planned completion of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road within the next 12 months as proof of Tinubu’s commitment to national development.

“Similarly, the dropp in the prices of Petroleum products bringing competitive markets between Dangote and the NNPC today shows that Nigeria is regaining it’s desirable economic position in the West African States,” he added.

He further noted that improved security conditions, frequent arrests of terrorists, and the surrender of armed groups demonstrate that Nigeria’s security agencies are making significant progress. He praised the efforts of the Ministers of Defense, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and the military for their dedication to restoring peace.

Additionally, Kwankwaso lauded Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, for organizing a Ramadan Iftar in Kano, which brought together key political figures, including Nasiru Jaoji, Abba Ganduje, Muhammad Ganduje, and Al-Amin Abba Kabir Yusuf. He described the gathering as a demonstration of unity and political maturity.

According to Kwankwaso, the role of APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, in fostering party unity and strengthening Kano’s political landscape should also be recognized.
