The Lagos State Government, through its Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, is set to revolutionize the maritime economy with the Lagos Seafood Festival 2025. The event aims to promote Lagos’ seafood industry, attract investors, and highlight the state’s rich maritime tourism potential.

Event Details

📅 Date: April 24th – 26th, 2025
📍 Locations:

  • Lagoon Restaurant, Victoria Island
  • Anuoluwapo Fish Market, Law School, Victoria Island
  • Oluwo Fish Market, Epe

Under the theme “Buy, Eat, Party,” the festival will feature seafood exhibitions, gourmet experiences, business networking, and cultural showcases.

A Boost for Lagos’ Maritime Economy

The festival is more than a celebration—it is a strategic move to reinforce Lagos as a leading maritime hub in West Africa. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Idris Aregbe, described the event as a game-changer for the seafood industry and Lagos’ economy.

“This is beyond a festivity. It is a celebration of our heritage and strategic opportunities for the seafood industry in Lagos. We will empower seafood merchants, attract international buyers, and amplify Lagos’ maritime story.”
