Acclaimed data scientist Shefiu Yusuf added another feather to his cap as he emerged Digital Transformation Leader of the Year at the 2024 edition of the National Technology Innovation Honors. The award, which celebrates individuals spearheading Nigeria’s digital evolution, comes in recognition of Yusuf’s groundbreaking work at the intersection of data, policy, and technology infrastructure.

The event, held in Abuja, brought together high-level stakeholders in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem. Among the dignitaries in attendance was  Director-General of National Technology Innovation Center, Director – General of Youth Affairs & Entrepreneurship  Development among many others. Their presence elevated the national importance of the occasion and the caliber of the awardee.
