Nigerian Law School Opens 2025/2026 Bar Part II Admissions

The Nigerian Law School has announced that applications for the 2025/2026 Bar Part II Course will open on Monday, September 11, 2025, and close on Friday, October 31, 2025.

The session is scheduled to begin on February 2, 2026, across all campuses in Nigeria.

Nigerian Law School Admission 2025/2026 Timeline

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, Ms. Aderonke Osho, the Law School confirmed the admission schedule.

The application details were also posted on the Council of Legal Education’s official X account on Tuesday.

  • Opening date: Monday, September 11, 2025
  • Closing date: Friday, October 31, 2025
  • Session begins: Monday, February 2, 2026

Campuses for the Bar Part II Course

The 2025/2026 Bar Part II Course will take place at the following campuses:

  • Headquarters, Abuja
  • Lagos
  • Enugu
  • Kano
  • Yenagoa
  • Yola
  • Port Harcourt

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

According to the statement, admission is open to:

  • Nigerian law graduates from Nigerian universities.
  • Foreign-trained law graduates who completed and passed the Bar Course at the Nigerian Law School

The school warned that only candidates whose data has been forwarded by their university registrars are eligible. Applicants are advised to confirm this with their universities before paying the non-refundable application fee.

How to Apply for Nigerian Law School 2025/2026 Admission

Applicants should:

  1. Visit the Nigerian Law School website (www.nigerianlawschooledung) for the application procedure.
  2. Download and fill the application form.
  3. Submit completed forms and references through their Dean of Law before October 31, 2025.

Re-admission and Referred Candidates

  • Candidates with approved re-admission or cleared referred cases should check the portal under the “Re-admission” section.
  • They must attach approval or clearance letters to the application form.
  • Documents should be sent to the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration at the Abuja headquarters by the deadline.

Important Deadlines and Warnings

The Nigerian Law School stressed the following:

  • Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Applicants must keep their application numbers, which are required to check admission status.
