1. Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke – Largest Art Canvas (2025)

At just 14 years old, Kanyeyachukwu, who lives with autism, created a massive artwork titled “Impossibility is a Myth.” Measuring 12,381.02 square meters, it set the record for the world’s largest art canvas by an individual.

2. Fola David-Tolaram – World’s Largest Drawing (2024)

Medical doctor and artist Fola David painted “The Unity of Diversity” on a canvas covering 1,004.7 square meters. The project, completed in six days at Lagos’ Mobolaji Johnson Arena, set a new global record.

3. Hilda Baci – Longest Cooking Marathon (2023)

Hilda cooked nonstop for 93 hours and 11 minutes, earning the Guinness record for the longest cooking marathon. Although later surpassed, her feat highlighted Nigeria’s rich culinary culture.

4. Gbenga Ezekiel – Rope Skipping Records (2022–2023)

From Akure, Gbenga set multiple skipping records:

• Most skips in one minute on one leg – 278 skips.

• Most double-under skips in one minute on one leg – 144 skips.

5. Bayo Omoboriowo – Largest Photo Book (2021)

Official photographer to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Bayo produced a 60-square-meter photo book, making it the largest of its kind.

6. Stephen Keshi – First African to Win AFCON as Player and Coach (2013)

The late Stephen Keshi earned recognition as the first African to win the Africa Cup of Nations both as a player and as a coach — a rare and historic double.

7. Adetunwase Adenle – Most Children Reading with an Adult (2011)

Teacher Adetunwase Adenle gathered 4,222 children in Lagos for a mass reading session, setting a Guinness record and promoting literacy.

8. DJ Obi – Longest DJ Set (2016)

DJ Obi thrilled fans for 240 hours nonstop in Lagos, setting the record for the longest DJ set in the world.

9. Kaffy – Longest Dance Party (2006)

Dancer Kaffy led her team in a marathon dance session lasting 55 hours and 40 minutes, breaking the world record for endurance dance.

10. Fela Kuti – Most Studio Albums Released (1992)

Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti recorded 46 studio albums between 1969 and 1992, making him one of the most prolific solo recording artists in history.
