Russian troops launched an early morning assault on Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine, resulting in three deaths and two injuries, local leaders reported.
The city, home to about 700,000 people, suffered from at least 10 aerial bombs dropped by the attackers.

Injuries in Sumy Region
In the northeast near Sumy, drone strikes over the last day hurt two individuals and hit civilian facilities along with homes, according to Governor Oleh Hryhorov.
Kyiv Area Hit
The Kyiv region saw one person wounded from an attack, with damage to apartment blocks and private properties, emergency responders noted.
