Nnadozie Named Among World’s Top Goalkeepers

Chiamaka Nnadozie, Nigeria’s Super Falcons goalkeeper, has earned a spot on the 2025 IFFHS Women’s World Best Goalkeeper shortlist. She is the only African among ten nominees.

Global Competition

The 24-year-old, now with Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League, faces top talent:

  • Ann-Katrin Berger (Germany/Gotham FC)
  • Cata Coll (Spain/Barcelona)
  • Hannah Hampton (England/Chelsea)
  • Christiane Endler (Chile/Lyon)

About the Award

The IFFHS, founded in 1987, honors football excellence yearly. Votes come from journalists and experts in over 120 countries. Winners announced in December.
