In a surprise move, Ghana’s top security agencies have announced a major hiring spree, giving hope to thousands of job seekers across the country.

The Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, and Ghana Immigration Service are now accepting applications from individuals who showed interest back in 2021. This unexpected development comes as welcome news in a tough job market.

Starting today, August 7, 2024, the Police Service is looking to fill various roles, including positions for both high school and university graduates. If you applied in 2021, don’t miss this chance! Send your details to recruitment@police.gov.gh by August 13, 2024.

But wait, there’s more! The Immigration and Prisons Services are also joining the hiring wave. They’re asking 2021 applicants to submit their information to recruitment@immigration.gov.gh and recruitment@ghanaprisons.gov.gh, respectively.

Who can apply? The services are looking for young Ghanaians between 18 and 28 years old (up to 33 for some Prisons Service roles). You need to be fit, honest, and have at least five passes in your high school exams, including Math and English.

Here’s the catch: there are specific height requirements. For the Police and Immigration Services, men must be at least 5 feet 8 inches tall, and women 5 feet 4 inches. The Prisons Service has slightly lower height requirements.

Ghana Police Service Recruitment
