Petrol Price

The Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of petrol to ₦970 per liter for marketers, a move aimed at easing fuel costs for consumers. This marks a ₦20 decrease per liter, attributed to the refinery’s efforts to support Nigerians amidst economic challenges.

According to the refinery’s management, the price cut is part of its strategy to demonstrate appreciation for the public’s patience and support during the refinery’s operations and fuel distribution phases. Industry stakeholders believe this reduction will positively impact transportation costs and provide some relief to businesses and households across the country.

The Dangote Refinery, recognized as the largest single-train refinery in the world, continues to play a critical role in stabilizing Nigeria’s downstream oil sector and meeting the country’s fuel demands.
