Patti La Belle, now 81, never imagined a career spanning over six decades when she started singing at 14.
Joined by Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, and Stephanie Mills, she’s hitting the road for the Queens: 4 Legends 1 Stage Tour, starting September 26, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
A Historic Lineup
“This tour with these women is special,” La Belle said. The four have shared stages before, but this joint venture is a first.
The Black Promoters Collective organizes the shows, featuring hits like Khan’s “I’m Every Woman,” Knight’s “Midnight Train to Georgia,” Mills’ “Home,” and La Belle’s “Lady Marmalade.”
Timeless Appeal
A rotating stage showcases each artist’s 45-minute set, drawing fans from grandparents to great-grandparents.
Their R&B roots and lasting influence shine, with Khan, 72, noting, “Fans say they grew up on our music. It’s touching.”
Gratitude for Longevity
Khan, set to star in a 2026 London musical about her life, values survival most. “I took it for granted once,” she admitted, reflecting on past struggles.
La Belle, launching a new syrup line, cherishes performing at her age. “It’s a blessing to still do this,” she said.
Tour Details
The tour’s second leg ends October 5 in Cleveland. With Khan and Knight in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the group’s legacy is undeniable. La Belle urges fans, “Don’t fear age—keep living boldly.”
