Breaking: Nigeria’s Paramilitary Shortlist is Out

This thrilling update comes straight from the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB). In a recent announcement by the board’s secretary, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, candidates who threw their hats in the ring for positions in four powerhouse agencies can now check their status.

We’re talking about the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS), the frontline heroes of national security and safety.

How to Check If You’ve Made the Cut

Starting from October 30, 2025, head over to the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng. There, you’ll discover if you’ve been shortlisted for the next phase, including details on your Computer-Based Test (CBT) venue, date, and time slot. It’s quick, easy, and could be the gateway to an adrenaline-pumping career!

A word of caution: Stick to this exact portal to avoid falling prey to scammers lurking online. Your future is too important to risk on shady sites.
