Football fans traveling to Morocco for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) are gathering in new, specially designed fan zones. These social hubs allow visitors to play games, meet other supporters, and follow the tournament’s progress.

Currently, you can find eight Fan Parks across seven cities. Best of all, entrance is free for anyone with a FAN ID. You can easily get this ID through the Yalla app.

A Complete Match-Day Experience

The Fan Parks offer much more than just a place to watch a game. They provide a full festival atmosphere to keep energy levels high. Consequently, fans can enjoy a variety of activities between matches.

Key features of the fan zones include:

  • Main Stages: These areas host live broadcasts, musical concerts, and various performances.
  • Giant Screens: Supporters can watch every match live on high-definition displays.
  • Dining Options: Dedicated food courts serve both local and international dishes.
  • Merchandise: Retail shops offer official tournament gear and souvenirs.

Positive Feedback from International Visitors

The initiative has already received a warm welcome from the global football community. Visitors have praised the local hospitality and the high-quality viewing experience.

“The people are very welcoming and kind,” noted one attendee. “Watching the matches on the giant screens is a fantastic experience. Furthermore, having food options right here makes it even better.”

By providing these free, high-energy spaces, Morocco aims to improve the travel experience for everyone following the tournament across the kingdom.
